My 5 year old son doesn't talk much. He has been in speech therapy for a long time now and its helping but he still isn't able to have a conversation with his friends like he should. He knows a lot of words but can't put them into a sentence. He says almost every word you ask him to say but the "c" and "k" are the hardest for him. This is his last year in preschool before Kindergarten and I'm hoping that he catches up. He is still learning his colors, but I think hes just being stubborn when it comes to learning those. He pretty much knows the alphabet and we are still working on counting past ten. Has anyone else out there had a child like this and can reassure me that he is fine and will catch up?
