I have a 5yo son.
OK. I know boys can get mischevious when grouped together.
but here's my question.
do you all think it's normal or typical that they get this way every single time they're together and that it's every single minute they're together?
I'm tending to think that it shouldn't be ALL the time or EVERY time. but it has been.
like, my son will play nicely (alone) with an empty snowblower (no power or fluids in it) but when his 2 friends come over they all 3 instantly go into destruction mode and put plastic toys in it and try to break off the pull chord, etc.
this was after I told them all they had to be on good behavior at my house or there would be NO playdate.
so I had to send them all home, again. it's so frustrating. I want my son to have neighborhood friends, but the list of problems seem endless.

theatre and I are there already. I'm having a very berry tea with crackers, cheese and cherry tomatoes and she's having a joint with some beer and we're both on really comfy recliners on thick pile carpet. we need some help with the decor if anyone is around??

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I was afraid that someone would post "why aren't you watching them dumbhead?"
and I forgot to say that I AM watching them thru the window (they can't really see me) b/c I'm always waiting for that shoe to drop and it always does.
If I brought them in and managed an activity with them it would be better I think but I can't be Super Mom all the time. I gotta cook dinner & go pee & feed the dog and other things.
maybe *I* need a timeout haha
would someone please send me to a timeout for about on hour in the bathroom so I can take a bubble bath = )
