I was thinking and I feel like I should share some coping strategies when anxiety strikes:
Run up and down the stairs (burns up adrenaline)
Do progressive relaxation (contracting &releasing muscles)
Watch TV
write
pray!
take xanax
take deep and slow breaths
Do grounding exercise (like sit in bathroom and start describing IN DETAIL what I see around me, helps with regaining thinking control!)
When I absolutly panic I bust out the paper bag and breath in it, I also run up and down the stairs or go jogging (exercise is AWESOME for anxiety) and of course take Xanax.

I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I am usually so overwhelmed by them I forget to do anything except telling myself over and over " Your NOT going to die" and "Where the eff is the exit" LOL
