For about a good solid year now, every time I have my period there comes PANIC ATTACKS! I have seen several doctors about this problem I keep getting blown off. "oh they are just panic attacks and you need to practice your breathing, self-talk, etc.... I know they are panic attacks but why do I get stronger and more often during my cycle?? Do I need to be on medication to control the symptoms?? The way I feel is very strange; I get extremly dizzy like Im going to fall over, my blood feels like its boiling, shortness of breath, shaking, bowel movements, but the strange thing is that my heart rate is completely normal. After the attack settles I get a huge headaches and my legs cramp. Last night I thought I had a blood clot, so there I went to the ER to have it checked out. I'm loosing my mind and I just dong know what direct to go about all this.
