I'll tell you what really helped me - medication. I've been on Buspar for almost a year now and it has worked wonders. I'm on a very low dose, but it has almost prevented all my panic attacks.
I don't know how you feel, but I was dead-set against prescription drugs. No way. But my attacks got so bad that I was wearing myself too thin. I was constantly exhausted from all the stress hormones flooding my body. If you feel like this, talk to a doctor. My doctor thought Buspar "wouldn't be strong enough" for me and wanted to put me on a drug cocktail, but I said no. One at a time. And after a couple months, everything got better. I wish the same for you, friend. It's not hopeless, and you can get better.
