Is there anyone else who doesn't have a trigger for their attacks? I know I'm under the biggest amount of stress I ever have been, but they happen even when I'm not thinking about it, they happen the minute I wake up, and when I'm watching tv, just randomly. And I know people say to do something to occupy your mind but it's the last thing I want to do, all I can do is curl up in a ball and wait for it to pass, I can't pay attention to anything, is this normal?

Have you been to see your doctor? The first thing is to get a physical. Once the typical physical triggers are ruled out; such as hyper-thyroidism, you may be diagnosed with GAD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder. There is alot of help available; and a combination of relaxation/deep breathing techniques, medication and therapy works the best:) You're not alone...

i wake up anxious, go to bed anxious and don't sleep well...and the anxiety and fears go on all day. aaaaaaaaah! you are definitely not alone. i often through breathing am able to control a full blown panic attack. try to be present. i know it is tough!

Yeah i actually just happened to me 5 seconds ago. Im watching South Park and all the sudden im on the ground crying thinking im going to die. I will even wake up out of my sleep sometimes with a panic attack! What i do is what im doing right now. I'll either go on my myspace or come onto here and check out other people to know that its not just me and im fine. Do you take xanax or anything??

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps.
