I had my first panic attack when I was 16. It scared my mom and I so we went to the hospital. Eventually I went to a psychologist who put me on Effexor. The first night I had a terrible reaction to it so I stopped and decided to try talk therapy. That worked well until when I was 20. I had a series of panic attacks and was ready to try meds again. I went to a different psychologist and she put me on Lexapro. I've been on it for over a year now and I couldn't be happier. I haven't had any panic attacks and I don't seem to worry about things as much. I've always felt alone in terms of having panic disorder so I was really excited when I found this group. I was just wondering how old you were when you had your first panic attack?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
