When I explain it to someone sometimes they laugh.. maybe thinking I am kidding or that I am making it up. It is very frustrating!
Sorry this has happened to you!!
Just ignore them, its hard, but clearly they arent that intelligent and if they were in the same situation, they probably wouldnt handle it half as well as you.
I'm sorry this happened to you.
Mainly I think people attack others out of a lack of understanding of what the other person is going through.
Just ignore it, I suppose. Or you could try to explain what you go through if these people are important to you, but that may not get you very far.
I would stay away from those people or stand up tall and confident when around them. Don't let them get to you. PAs are very real and NO ONE should be made fun of for having them. (((HUGS)))
i know it's frustrating when people don't understand but you just have to know that people can be dumb and don't understand that it's a real problem.
just stay strong and try to ignore those people because what they say doesn't matter.
