I have been occasionally waking up holding my breath, anyone whos ever had that really big attack with the hyperventilating could relate, I've only had two of those and never let it happen again to that point, I get the other symptoms, heart racing, ect, but the hyperventilating I nipped in the bud somehow. My problem is sometimes like this morning I woke up and I was holding my breath, and felt like I was trying to Not hyperventilate, I usually have anxiety in the morning but waking up like that just makes it so much worse, someone said mabe its sleep apnea? I have no idea, but I'm wondering if anyone experiances that, waking up to holding their breath and feeling like their about hyperventilate? could it be panic attack I didn't catch and get a grip on in my sleep?
