I had my first panic attack in months today and almost passed out in Walgreens. It completely kicked my butt and I went to Mickey D's to get some protein, which helps me a lot, but am still feeling the after effects. I take 6 mg of xanax for anxiety and it usually keeps the attacks down. I used to have attacks daily and that's part of why I'm not working now. It really scared me because I've been free of them for awhile and this just came out of left field. Does anyone do anything specific to keep their attacks at bay for the long term? I avoid stimulation as much as I can and are careful with activity so this really nailed me. Appreciate any advice.
