I would focus on watching your breathing. Place your hand on your chest while you breathe and feel the strength of the air and the strength of your body to control the flow of air through yourself. Next, I would try progressive muscle relaxation. If you are not familiar with this, it is easy to look up on the web. Once you use these techniques, then you should find something you enjoy doing and do it.
