I was diagnosed with pancreatitis 4/23/09. Since then I've had 60% of my pancreas removed and am constantly having to have cysts drained. Also, I contracted staph and am just now getting over it. I haven't yet be diagnosed as diabetic but I'm really worried about it. I've been on strong pain medication ever since I was diagnosed but it just doesn't work like it use to. I'd be grateful for any insight someone could offer and would like to know what to expect in the future. Thanks.
