I spoke to the doctor at the Children's hospital in Cincinnati today. It went well. The doctor was super nice. He says from looking at all of my son's tests and blood work that all in all he is doing really well. There is no long term damage yet and other than a few concerns and suggestions he says to stay on the path we are on. We do not have to travel to see him yet. He says that any tests or blood work will be sent from my GI to him for review and if anything raises a flag he will talk to our GI. He says in the future we may have to make the trip but for right now we are doing the right things. The only concern he has is Wesley's lack of weight gain which he says needs to be looked at closely and to really pack the calories into him. A part of me feels better. I am glad we are doing all we can do right now. A part of me hoped he had more answers for me today. I know there is no magical cure. He says though that if we keep up the way we are and the disease progresses the same way it has and not faster he should have a pretty normal childhood minus hospital stays now and then and of course the really low fat diet. :)

I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
