I would just make sure your docs all talk to one another & that you are being seen by them all frequently. You should also have genetic testing done & meet with a perinatologist when you decide to start trying.
Good luck & God Bless you in your journey!

I have also received stats from the National Transplantation Pregnancy Registry(NTPR) that are very encouraging. You will be considered a high risk pregnancy and will have to be monitored more closely. Your meds may also need to be adjusted. But there is no reason why we can't have children, if the doctors give the green light. God bless you. I wish you the best. I see that you are 33. I am 35 so the question of pregnancy and fertility is definitely often on my mind.
Thanks again and good luck x
I am of course considered a high risk pregnancy. I go to the doctor twice a week right now...but my little one is worth it.
A friend of mine who also had a kidney tranplant a few years ago, gave birth to a baby boy last week!!
Hope I helped.
