I recently was told that my 9 year old step son is on Seroquel, and they mother can't seem to keep her story straight when telling me why he is on it...
Late Last year and Early into this year this child's mother was told he Had ODD... and was put on some medication that started with an "A" ( ABILIFY I believe)
This month she says she has been told that he has "Bi Polar Tones" and has been put on Seroquel (50MG of meds so far)
I am worried about him as she said he lost bowel and urine control on the "ABILIFY" and now is on this one...
The Father has limited if any visitation ( like 2-3 times a year at her discretion) .. .
Do any of you have kids that are on these meds? Can you help me understand more about them...

I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
When you are with him, does it seem that he needs to be that heavily medicated? Loosing bowel control on the abilify, how said, that must be tramatic for a kid that age. Sorry I am no help. I jsut think that its so sad these drugs are rx for all these young kids, I know its for a reason but its still so said. Good luck
