Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a psychiatric disorder, more specifically, an anxiety disorder. OCD is manifested in a variety of forms, but is most commonly characterized by a subject's obsessive (repetitive, distressing, intrusive) thoughts and related compulsions (tasks or rituals) which attempt to neutralize the obsessions.

It's hard for me to discuss the obsessions I have so I'll choose not to.
I have been diagnosed with OCD recently well my doc says don't focus on the "C" part but mainly the "O" part.
Just wondering if people are in the same boat I am. The re-occuring thoughts that sway through your mind. They do not stop.
Please help or advice will be most helpful

Although my compulsions are bad and annoying, its the obsessions that really kill me. I, too, do not really like to talk about all of them because a lot of them are really disturbing. If you ever want to talk about anything, I am here for you.

No, they don't. I think you either learn to live with them or you don't. Medicine seems to help a lot of people. Slows it way down. I cant seem to bring myself to try them.
