I was diagnosed with OCD at 15 yrs old, I am in my 20's now. I still have OCD symptoms but they are different than what they used to be then. I do more checking & stuff now & more bad thoughts, then I had more of an obsession with my weight, numbers, germs, & bad thoughts. My mom said that just because I had it then doesn't mean that's what's wrong with me now. Is she right? Can you just get rid of it like that? Could it be something else or is it most likely still OCD causing me to check stuff over & over & have bad thoughts & worry about them like they are real?
