I have been in CBT using ERP for at least 18 months now. I have really improved and am managing my ocd fairly well. I do find myself though, still having the thoughts, but can control my compulsions. I want to compulse, I just don't give in. How long does it take to have the thoughts just fly by like this DARN imagery I am doing? Is this just a life long exposure? I laugh at myself constantly which is so helpful. It really helps me realize how unrealistic my fears really are.
