Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Support Group
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a psychiatric disorder, more specifically, an anxiety disorder. OCD is manifested in a variety of forms, but is most commonly characterized by a subject's obsessive (repetitive, distressing, intrusive) thoughts and related compulsions (tasks or rituals) which attempt to neutralize the obsessions.
You mentioned the homosexual thoughts before. Is there a girl that is close to you that you would consider trying something with? That would get it out of your system and that way you don't have to think about it anymore. If it is someone who you are unsure how they feel about it, I wouldn't risk the friendship over it though.
The way I see it is that our thoughts are ours. We can think anything we want to. Try not to worry about the thoughts, just let them come and go.
Again, I'm sorry...
Yes: I am gay (NOT saying you are!) and am
at last enjoying some measure of peace. I am a low-key, moderate person and I guess
I was afraid of being lumped in with the
stereotype of the effeminate, prancing
queen (think 'Leave Britney alone!' :)
