My sister seems to have OCD. But, a lot of her problem is hoarding things. She just gets things whether she needs them or can afford them or not. When you walk into her house, there is a trail. There is usually not a place to sit on the couch. She just will not throw away magazines, newspapers. She'll go to the grocery store and buy food she doesn't need. She can't cook in her kitchen b/c she has too much stuff piled up everywhere. She has enough bath stuff to last her several years. Does this sound like an OCD? Or could it be something else? She's never been diagnosed or treated. Would treatment help her? Her house is dangerous - a fire hazard! If you have advice, I'd love to hear it!
