OCD is manifested in a variety of forms, but is most commonly characterized by a subject's obsessive (repetitive, distressing, intrusive) thoughts and related compulsions (tasks or rituals) which attempt to neutralize the obsessions.
Be aware, though, that the time-release form of adderall made it virtually impossible for me to sleep. I am on the 2-a-day dosage, which is perfect since I can choose whether or not I need it in the afternoon and by bedtime, I am able to calm down and sleep (with a little help)..
If you'd like to chat more, feel free to message me... I have much info/experience if you are interested.
As for OCD: Adderall actually gives me OCD symptoms every once in a while -- really badly. I'll start getting confused about stupid things and obsess over them endlessly, getting more and more anxious until I find a way out of that particular thought-loop. That's usually when I do my "med holiday" because I find I get that way more frequently the longer I'm on the drug. Just my $0.02. It works differently for everyone.
And Yes it adderall is addictive. Please be very careful with this stimulant. Other countries have outlawed it. Please do your research first.
