I have been walking for years, and never seem to loose any weight.
I wouldn't say I eat much rubbish. I may have take away food once a moth if that.
I eat meat twice a week, nd there is plnty of fruit and veg going into me.
I walk for about an hour, 2 times a day, sometimes even more, and it is power walking.
Hmmmm, it can be annoying , i guess im expecting a miracle all alone.
I do also run around after 6 children,.....
ok,ok,ok.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I wish you lots of luck. That's a lot of work to do to not get results. Don't quit though. Even though you're not losing weight, I'm sure it's preserving your health in lots of other ways.
I do eat smaller portions, and I do not eat after 6pm.I don't eat the reg 3 meals though, i might have 2meals a day if that, and a snack is a piece of fruit or a rice cake.oh well, one must soldier on.
I use the Benedict Formula to calculate how many calories my body uses and add in my exercise. I then create a calorie deficit of 1000 per day. This should allow for 2 pounds weight loss per week. If you'd like to know more about it, feel free to message me. I can also point you to some very useful online tools to help.
Marshmallow is right when she mentions that your body gets used to certain exersize that you do every day. For extra calorie burning you have to add something that you do of and on instead of everyday.

For me that looks like this:
220- 29 (my age) = maximum which is 191
191 times .7 is 133
191 tiems .8 is 152
I need to hit between 22 and 25 beats for a 10 second period.
It does seem to help.
