For those of us who will be out there this summer driving around, vacationing and visiting friends and relatives, I'd like to start a list of economical and healthy ways to avoid bad road food. I'll start: I love Clif Bars. You can get em at Walmart for .96 cents. Everybody I've introduced them to love them. They are organic and balanced for fiber, protein, and vitamins. They keep you going for 3 hours. Kids love the choc chip and peanut butter ones. They don't make you hungry again quickly like other meal replacement bars and they don't spoil or melt in heat.
