I think our obsession with quick and easy is part of the reason I have started so many diets and failed. I've been dieting for about one week (this time!) and I already expect my clothes to be falling off my body. So I'm praying for patience. Any ideas on how to cultivate it would be greatly appreciated. I know keeping busy is one of the things that helps, but it only goes so far. Seems patently unfair to me that it is so easy to put weight on but so difficult to take it off! No justice in that!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps.
