Does anyone else have a job where they're on their feet for 6-8 hours a day? I am a pharmacy technician and am walking and standing in the pharmacy for long shifts for up to 8 hours a day. Midway through my shift I tend to a get an overwhelming soreness and need to stretch my hamstrings/butt area. It is very painful and makes me even limp at times. Does this happen to anyone else with obesity? I think it might be because of my extra weight on my knees and legs which could cause my muscles deep in my legs and lower buttocks area to be stressed. And it doesn't help because of my extra pounds I don't think I can stretch as easily and get to those muscles that kill me by the end of the day.
