I went to a Curves gym last night and I actually kinda enjoyed it. It is very different to other gyms with machines arranged in a circle rather than in lines. The machines are not your usual cycles/treadmills either, they are designed for women to work out the muscles we need, in comparison to usual gyms which are designed for men. There is no queueing for machines as they work in a circuit, every few minutes the music stops and a command is given to change machines or take your pulse. No men either. The only drawback is that it is in the basement of a branch of Subway! Any other Curves fans out there?
