I'm trying to avoid a potentially humiliating experience. I'm supposed to get a CAT scan of my sinuses at the end of February. I'm concerned that my weight might exceed some sort of weight limit for the machine. Does anyone have any information on this?

Today is my 25th birthday, to my somewhat lack of surprise I can see already no one really seems to care. However, those machines are built to hold a lot of weight. As Mistie said, you're definitely not the first one to have this issue. I'm sure they didn't build these machines with a 200 lb wieght limit!
