Hi, I'm new here and just wondered if anyone had any advice on where to start when wanting to lose weight and get healthy. I don't even know how much I weigh anymore. Last I was weighed I was 325 but I know I have gained a lot since then. My feet and knees always hurt and am always tired. I want to be healthy again and don't know where to start. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Walking is good anytime, of course. You might think of taking a few short walks with your dog rather than only one walk. It would be easier not to skip a day. Plus, your dog would love it.

I'm with Bobbi - I added multigrains and more veggies and gave up sweets and white bread and junk food and sugary soft drinks. It's working. I'm trying to exercise more, even if it's doing more housework or parking farther away from the office. I have a bad back and my knees pain when the weather changes.
