For the last couple of weeks, I have noticed that my dad's mouth (lower lip) is drooping on the left side. He also [most likely] has PD also but not proven by a neurologist yet. First neurologist was an idiot, but the second one will be a good one. Could the drooping mouth have anything to do with his PD? Or if not, is this a neurological thing? He can just about barely walk now even with his walker. I've noted too that while in his chair he leans to the left also. He has a hunched back with scoliosis and osteoporis too. Soon he will have an appt. for a cat scan (of his head) to see if has had any mini-strokes, etc.
I am so mad that the first neurologist looked at my dad and just told him that since his hands don't tremble, he does not have PD. What utter nonsense.
