My husband used to tease me about the spooks that woke me in the night!! Having read some posts in this community I am wondering whether these are hallucinations related to narcolepsy? (rather sad here, as I rather like the idea of being visited by spooks - got used to it over the years!)....I wonder if anyone can shed more light for me on this?
Thanks in anticipation....have always wondered about this....

As long as I can remember I have had spooks at night. I used to go from one siblings bed to another just to keep them at bay. I've heard from other narcs that this is the norm.

dont be so guick to decide since i was a child i also have seen spooks. i also could tell someone what was going to happen to them if i was realy close to that person and i was right. i have one spook that comes a week before a death in my family hes not my faverot but always here, mom had a chair which i had till the house fire that would rock when someone died thats how we would know long before a phone call. so yes they could be hallucinations or are they we may never know, but the one thing we know is each and every one of us is special. by the way i know the red dog and the snake that wasnt there were hallucinations but not my spookes...

maybe the whole narcolepsy thing, gives us the ability to see ghosts and stuff. I've lived in two haunted houses, literally, and since my husband and i have been married, we moved into his house,, but ghosts have always followed my family, and i hear noises all the time, stuff dropping from no where, noises you can't explain, and this house is new not old, the other houses were old, and mind you, very haunted. I was so use to the ghosts that they didn't bother me, were they hallucinations, nahhhh, i don't think so. I think that we are intuned more with the universe having narcolepsy though. What do ya'll think?

I honestly dont know about the spooks, but what I feel is very strange is that after my husband died, I saw him once, looking as though he was trying to tell me something (again, I was woken up), but after that I never saw any spooks again. He died very suddenly, but why, to this day, should I not experience this again? Though the other day, on just starting to wake I was aware of a hug spider flying around me as I awoke, but then I KNEW that was a hallucination...I just dont understand this....*sigh*

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
