My sleep study is scheduled for this coming Wednesday and I know I should not be freaking out but I am! I keep feeling like I am going to mess it up somehow. Or that it is going to be inconclusive or something and I will be back to square one. Have you ever brought your car to the mechanic when it was doing something strange only for it to be a perfectly normal car when they look at it? Or that clunk it makes when you drive it is suddenly gone? I can't help feeling I am going to go into this sleep study and get a great nights sleep with no trouble. (not that I would be ungrateful for a real nights sleep at this point but...I want them to see the real situation!) I am scheduled for an overnight test as well as the daytime nap one the next day. I just don't know if I can fall asleep like I do at home and dream all night or hope to get them to see something like my crazy sleep paralysis or hallucinations. Not sure if I should try to go as tired as possible?...(like everyday mostly), or try to be semi-rested? Take a nap the day of because I do not have to be there till 8:30pm? Just wondering if anyone has any tips or can relate their diagnosis and sleep study experiences? Thank you all for your continuing support and advice. I will let you know how it all goes too.
