My doctor took me off Ritalin two or three years ago and switched me to PROVIGIL. I believe that it kept me alert for maybe three weeks and then it was like taking nothing. At first I took one 200 mg tablet in the morning (to keep me awake on my morning drive). And then I took another one in the afternoon to help with the drive home.Like I say, after two or three weeks it didn't seem to do anything for me. I was travelling last summer and needed to stay alert while I was driving and I took two tablets (400mg) and started driving and within half an hour I had to stop because I couldn't stay awake. I take one tablet maybe two or three times a week now to try to help me be alert, but I think it is like sucking on a dry tank for any of you SCUBA divers.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
