Hi all. My 16 year old son was diagnosed with narcolepsy one month ago. He is taking 200mg provigil and getting 9-10 hours of sleep at night. All has been great for the last month until yesterday. He fell asleep during an algebra test and the teacher was unable to wake him. In fact, the teacher didn't think he was sleeping as he appeared to be daydreaming. He insists he was asleep. The same thing happened in the same class a week before he was diagnosed. The teacher thinks it's behavior. The doctor and I suspect it's narcolepsy. Does anyone here have episodes where you appear to be awake but are actually asleep?
