I was recently diagnosed with narcolepsy. I don't have cataplexy that I know of. If I do it is extremely mild. I went to the neurologist because I would wake up almost every night having hallucinations. Spiders, geometric shapes, saw a person flying down the hallway once. I got used to the hallucinations and they don't really bother me anymore. I have most recently seen some scary ones though. I saw blood splattered on the wall and blood on my baby daughters face two times. The scariest thing that happened to me was this: I was sleeping on my left side and I literally felt a hand grab my arm and yank me hard. I woke up but was unable to move or scream. After what seemed like an eternity I finally woke up. Mind you i turned on all the lights in the room and it took me some time to get the courage to go back to sleep. Read on because this story gets more interesting and confusing. Now the latest thing is a feeling of vibration entering into my body. It sometimes starts at the feet or foot and moves up. I have had it go up an arm or both arms. Sometimes it enters into my chest, sometimes all over my body. Ok, so I am thinking this is part of the narcolepsy and possibly a symptom of sleep parlysis. I thought that until one day I am sleeping in my daughters bed which is in me and my husbands room. My husband is sleeping in our bed. I wake up to the usual vibrations traveling up my arm. I feel like there is a presence also in the room. So I start to whimper a bit. Then my husband shouts its happening to me too! So I run over to him and he says feel my arm...I did and you can literally feel the vibration/trembling inside his arm. Now this has continued happening to both of us. Sometimes its just me and sometimes both of us at the same time. If this is just sleep parlysis or narcolepsy then why are me and my husband both experiencing this? Why is it that someone else can touch us and physically feel the vibrations inside? And why does it happen at exactly the same time to both of us? Last night me and my husband tried to sleep for four hours while these vibrating episodes continued. We fall asleep then we wake up shaking. I am wondering if this is a supernatural thing and whether or not I should get the house blessed. Does anyone have any ideas? Oh yeah I almost forgot to say that I felt myself lift out of my body once and float around my room. It was extremely vivid. Also an interesting note: I was talking to my sister on the phone telling her about what has been going on with the vibrations at night when a glass in the kitchen literally blew up/exploded. Little tiny pieces of glass were thrown all over the kitchen counters and floors. The cup didn't just fall off the counter top. No it blew up. It really frightened me. It was weird that I just happened to be talking about the vibrations when the cup exploded. Somebody got any ideas? I really appreciate your help! I feel like I am losing my mind!

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I get the vibrations when I'm asleep and sometimes when I'm awake, I think its to do with a rapid heartbeat. So next time you feel it put your hand over your heart and see if its causing it.
Have you talked to your husband about it during the day?
Sorry to ask its just that I've had conversations that I am ABSOLUTLEY SURE have happened and they are all part of the sleep cr** that happens to us. Now I just ask my hubby 'was I dreaming' and no longer argue about it.
The vibrations and leaving my body were my first symptoms, I couldn't stay in my body while it was shaking so the only thing I could do was to leave it. I would fly out of the window every night, knowing that a mischeivious spirit was trying to get me to leave my body and get me lost so that I wouldn't be able to return.
It was very scary and I thought I was going mad but after 6 months or so I went to see a reiki healer and discussed, She gave me a 'prayer' 'chant' 'protection charm' to say before I went to bed every night and it did help.
Then I discovered that I was a PWNC and it all started to make sense.
But a big (((((((hug))))))))) to you because it is awful

I was absolutely convinced that something was poking me, trying to pull me out of bed by my legs, laying on top of me, pushing my chest, or that I was levitating. It got to the point where my parents actually started to doubt my sanity. I'm not doubting what you say but I have to stress that what I experienced seemed 100% real to me.
What happens if you sleep away from your home? Does it still happen?
Where yes you have the hallucinations you also have the episode of the glass exploding in the kitchen. To me it seems like there is enough about the hallucinations being said and not enough about the glass.
I have had experiences where there was actually a ghost in my house. After my father in law passed away a couple things happened. Scared the #### out of me but I dealt with it. I have also taken a couple of Reki courses so that tells you where I am coming from.
If a glass is exploding than there are a couple things tha could be. I would first bless my house with either holy water or burn sage. You do every room and say a prayer as you do it. See what happens, if the problem gets worse or better. It couldnt hurt doing it especially if it gives you peace of mind. If the problem gets worse then you need to call in someone to help you. Like Taps or an agency that deals with stuff like that.
I know on Taps they say that if there are a lot of ....is it called emf rays? that those will cause hallucinations to be worse than normal because of the stuff being emmited in that area of the house. It has to do with the wireing and how insulated it is I believe. If you think about it...if you have a lot of those rays than it would play havvoc with your hallucinations, it would also cause your husband to have similar experiences or anyone else who stays in your home for awhile including your kids. I would deffenatly get that looked into.
I know being a meter reader for years I have had people tell me......I dont know why my electric bill is so huge I have almost nothing running in the house.....well from experience I have learned that something as small as an alarm clock that is working perfectly can be sucking up tons of electricty and you dont even know it. Its because the wireing is faulty but the clock will still run just fine. So I would tell them how to go through all there apliances to see if there is a culprit. Sometimes we need to pick things apart to find the culprit. The trick is that with your HH to not get to freaked out over it if you can, shoot I know it would make me feel uneasy. But take things one step at a time and try to seperate them as best as you can, its easy for everything to get jumbled up and overwhelming.
Gawd.....I hope I dont sound like a nut case but if I do well at least I am a happy nut. : )
