I am 35 years old and am currently seeing a sleep disorder specialist. I fall asleep all the time and at any time...if I close my eyes for more than 30 seconds or lay down anywhere I fall asleep. I have recently done an MSLT and it came up that the longest it took me to fall asleep during any of the tests was 80 seconds..they have now done the blood test to see if I have the marker for narcolepsy and I am waiting for the results. I was wondering if anyone who has been diagnosed with either Narcolepsy or Idiopathic Hypersomnia can tell me what the treatments are and if they are working...Any information would be appreciated as I have been on the websites which explain the disorders but don't inform about treatment. My Doctor won't discuss it until he has a firm diagnosis. Cheers
