i was given the diag of MG on Friday. my problems have been limited to only having issues swallowing. its been a 5 year battle of being kicked from one doctor to the next only to have been treated for last 2 years as it being all in my head. when i read bout this disease on websites i get the feeling i'm alone in being someone who only has issues swallowing becuase i've never had eye problems. during this last exacerbation which i'm still in i've gone from 148 to 128 in 4 weeks. tha'ts alot of weight for me. i start mestinon on monday and was just curious if anyone was like me that had really bad swallowing issues. i'll have to take the drug on empty stomach because i'm still only able to take liquids, and even then just when i first get up. any advice or insight would be helpful.
