Hello everyone just want to introduce myself. My name is Marsha and I am 25 years old. I was diagnosed with MG in March of 2009. I had a MG crisis before I even knew I had MG. I had complete respiratory failure and had to undergo 5 plasmapheresis treatments. I was in the hospital for a month and basically had to learn how to walk again when I got out because I was so weak. Good to say that I have had no problems since March but my doctor thinks it will be a good idea to have a thymectomy. I am very scared to have the surgery. If anyone has had the surgery please let me know how it went and how you are doing afterwards, thanks I would really appreciate that. Looking forward to speaking with all of you soon. God Bless!!
