i am having surgery on july 13. I had a thymectomy 2 years ago , with a thymoma , stage 1 , b-1 . A mass has been showing up in my scans and because it is increasing in size , my surgeon wants to operate. I have full confidence in my surgeon at Mass General and my neuro, however, as they have weaned me from pred. for surgery, i have been hosptialized for a ciris. with my first treatment of ivig. i am now "stabile, whatever that means. They say the chance of an non invasive thymoma returning is very low, yet, they are suspicious. Sherry informed me about a website thymic .com and I learned that no thymoma is benign. My lesion in in my plearal lining and I will be operated thru the back. My surgeon says he can not estimate the length of surgery or " what it is " until he actually gets inside. So , why am i posting this?......just always think of you guys ..so please send good karma my way
