I feel embarrassed to go to a dr.
These are my symptoms that have appeared recently: fatigue, drooping eyelids, choking easily, scratchy throat, feel like someone's squeezing my throat, "thick" feeling tongue and difficulty talking, a little trouble breathing like I can't catch my breath.
Or is it just me being anxious?
BTW, my brother has MG, if there's a genetic connection to all this.
Can anyone arm me with a little info so I know whether to bother going to a dr?
Thanks
Sharon

Hi, I would go to the doctor if i were you because regardless of whether or not it is MG (which it sounds like it could be) it sure sounds like something is wrong. Is there anything that you do that lessens the symptoms you are having?

I am so sorry that you are having these symptoms. I know that going to a doctor is scarey when we are sick because it means tests and then results. However, if you get to the bottom of it all there may be things that can help. Why suffer in silence? It's not a good idea to try and self-diagnosis, but I know we all do it. There is no link yet that MG is genetic, but they don't know enough yet. You would be doing yourself a great service by going to see your doctor. If it is MG and you are having breathing and swallowing difficulties it can be dangerous and you need to seek medical advice.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
