Hi, it is Margaret, I told some of my friends I was going to the neuro Friday, well I did. I brought my sister with me so I would not forget any questions. Well I went into the room with my sister, we all sat down and I told the neuro I am having terrible side effects from avonex (the needle). He said to stop them immediately and then I asked a few questions like will have another relapse or what? He said he wasn't sure, as he was writing a bunch of swiggily lines on his pad. Then, my sister says "Well what about her MS" The neuro says "WHAT MS!!!!! YOU DO NOT HAVE MS. WE JUST GAVE YOU THE NEEDLE FOR A PRECAUTION" my sister and I looked at eachother with our mouths wide open and said "WHAT, NO MS" He says no. So we left and I stopped the needle. I still feel yucky I guess it could be withdrawals from avonex. But do you believe this. My sister and I are still in shock. Oh, yes I also asked him why I cannot walk to good. He said "Well you know you have ostrio arthrithis in your knees". So I really advice everyone, I mean everyone to get a second opinion. I really had a wacko. So please everyone talk to your neuro and make sure you are taking the right meds for you or is it just to prevent you from having MS. Well, I have to say Good bye because I will be out celebrating and of course I will still be praying for all of you. I would like to thank all my friends for their support and laughs. I love you guys and I will pray you get better, HUGS AND HUGS, WITH ALL MY LOVE, GOD BLESS EVERYONE, MARGARET.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
and then the avonex.
i'd get another MRI done on your brain and spine
