Okay, so I've had this really bad sharp pain in my left arm/shoulder/shoulder blade for a long time. It radiates down my arm and hand, and it leaves my arm and hand weak, and often numb and tingly. Sometimes it hurts so badly, I can't even lie down. If I lie on my right side, I'll end up waking up from a burning pain on that side, accompanied by weakness, which I can't afford for that to happen because I'm right-handed. My right side isn't as bad as my left, but it seems like my left side is just getting worse and worse. I don't know what meds to take, and probably can't take anything for it, since I'm pregnant. Anybody know how long this is supposed to last, and what I can do for it? What meds will I likely be on for this after my pregnancy? It's gotten to the point where I don't drive as much, and I can't even pick up a dish without my arm feeling heavy, followed by a sharp, radiating pain.
