Is anyone here feel just exhausted from sun-up to sun-down?
If so, can you tellme how you got out of it?
Seems to me this disease wins and destroys our muscles by giving in to the desire to sleep alot....the muscles get no excersize, therefore....it wins.

MS makes the body work harder all the way around -- motions that we took for granted become difficult as muscles no longer move smoothly. So actually, you have greater exertion (and energy expenditures) than a "normal" person doing the same tasks.
Exercise is important, but traditional workouts can actually make fatigue worse, especially if you have one side of the body that is weaker than the other. You can end up injuring yourself as you try to compensate for the weak muscles -- and if you don't exercise them properly, they remain weakened. Physical therapists are invaluable for helping you create an exercise program that is both accessible and effective.
I think the key is to balance targeted activity with rest, as appropriate. MS is a whole body disease, and all of our motor functions, from gross to fine, can be affected. It makes sense that fatigue would be the result. Learning to adapt to your energy highs and lows isn't allowing MS to win -- it allows you to maximize your abilities. Sensible exercise, a sound diet, and supplementation with a good multi-vitamin can help, but resting as needed is also key.
