We who have MS are in a constant battle to deal with the onset of whatever tomorrow may bring. Symptoms which are too numerous to count, dealing with injections and whatever issues they add to our daily battle, abandonment those we thought who really loved us leave and cannot or say they cannot deal with the situation. How quickly they forget it is us fighting this disease and if they really loved us they would fight with us.
I dont want to sound pesimistic. There are some really good people out there who are getting great support from their loved ones, their families and friends. I am lucky that I have a special someone who cares for me unconditionally.
As for the fight, dont give up. Dont let this disease define you. Be who you are and do whatever you can. do not let this thing called MS win. Be a fighter and win the fight. If you feel like you cant do it anymore come to me and the people here and we will see you through it...
For those newly diagnosed and just beginning your journey, rely on us who have been there. We will give you the strength to begin your fight...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I have been reading the story of Nick Masullo's journey
http://www.nwaonline.net/articles/2007/11/27/our_town/112507masullo.txt
and I found these words from Nick "The present leaves without a trace. You're standing in a different place./You make it to the open door and find that there's a hundred more./As far as the eye can see -- nothing but possibilities."

This site is a great place to share those feelings of frustration, my small victories, and especially laughter with all of you who truly understand. Thanks for the post. I love that it's not always about the disease here, it's more about the people. -Jen
