Still no DX and still having symptoms. I'm waiting on my insurance to approve an MRI and I don't have a neuro appointment until Dec. 28. In the meantime I'm just hanging around with all these weird and painful symptoms. My thighs have been cramping a lot lately and my face numbness goes on and off and I started having these really bad shooting pains in my wrists.
Anyway, I had this beautiful thanksgiving planned--gourmet style and everything! It was my first thanksgiving with my husband and new baby! On the menu was a bacon maple glazed sage butter turkey, sage, apple and sausage stuffing, celery root and garlic mashed potatoes, cranberry-orange sauce, wild mushroom and spinach sauteed, orange zest green beans, biscuits, giblet gravy with pumpkin cheesecake and pecan pie for desert. Sounds great right? I was so excited to make the WHOLE meal.
Well, I woke up but I felt a little tingly. Then when I got out of bed, every time I took a step, the tingling in my calf got worse, then my face started to go numb and my hands and finally it was me sitting in the chair directing everyone else on how to make MY recipes and MY thanksgiving!
I just had really been looking forward to doing it myself. Bummer!

Mine was much much worse...aside from the MS...I have an unappreciative brother in law who after 12 hours on my feet (not supposed to do, I know) he says when the utensils haven't been polished and was asked by his brother did you want to use the silverware (keep in mind I wanted to use the damn paper plates in the first place) and his reply was "well, I dunno...everything was just thrown on the table and no order on how we are going to eat"...keep in mind everyone's derriere who was supposed to show up ontime to eat at 4 didn't show until 7 with one guest MIA.....so I had to make room on dining room table in order to get the food out of the kitchen to make room for the rest...damn....i am glad it's OVER and if he's thinking I am doing this again in 3 weeks boy is he in for a rude awakening...he really got stuck in my craw and now being a "mr. nice guy" because I think he realizes he f*&*ed up with me...AAAAAAAAAAhhhh!!! ----> walking with my head held high back into my cave...lol.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
