Hey All-
I feel like I am always saying this, but once again sorry for going MIA. My girls are keeping me on my toes, and today was the FIRST day of summer vacation! I think I am in trouble!
Anyway, I was wondering what everyone has planned for this summer, if anything.

A friend sent this to me..As far as I can see, grief will never truly end.It may become softer overtime, more gentleand some days will feel sharp. But grief will last as long as Love does - ForeverIt's simply the way the absence of your loved onemanifests in your heart. A deep longing accompaniedby the deepest Love some days. The heavy fog mayreturn and the next day, it may recede.Once again, it's...

Today is my 25th birthday, to my somewhat lack of surprise I can see already no one really seems to care. I've always been the kinda person to make sure that everyone I Care about feels appreciated and knew somebody had their back. I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...
We are very very busy. My kids have something practicly everyday. The 2 major things are:
1) a trip to Lancaster PA to take them to Dutch Wonderland which is a kid friendly amusment park and
2)A week in Myrtle Beach in July.
I am very nervous about both trips... the first cause of all the walking and possible high temps the second is just the high temps I will have to deal with.
I hope I can do this!
i cant stress this enough...even if it costs a bit of extra money if you dont feel like you can walk the whole day there is no shame in getting a motorized cart to go around in. there is no reason to limit yourself or your kids because of this. besides that they are fun to ride around on :) and if your kids are young enough they will think it is a great thing!
also drink lots and lots of water and dont feel bad if you have to stop and rest more than usual.
Mom24princesses how ya doin?! I plan to go to school, hang out at the pool, and go horse back riding as much as possible. The sun didn't bother me too much last year so I hope this year will be the same.
Pace yourself. Do not get caught up in the energy and excitement. It can wear you out faster. As said here: use a scooter whenever you can. Kids like them! But it is for you. Don't fool yourself by being a walking person. It may not be you. I remember when and how i found that out. Watch out. Wear a hat! Drink plenty of water. Take pee breaks.
Have a good time with the kids! Take pictures. They will help to enjoy the memories ten years from now.
IM NERVOUS ABOUT IT, FOR ONE I DONT LIKE CROWDS, AND 2 IM SCARED THAT I WONT BE ABLE TO HANDLE THE HEAT AND ALOT OF WALKING. I HAVENT GONE THRU A SUMMER WITH MY MS YET, SO ITS GOING TO BE INTERESTING, I LIKE THE IDEA OF RENTING A MOTORIZED SCOOTER, BUT I FEEL FUNNY DOING THST TOO. IT SOUNDS LIKE THE BEST IDEA THOUGH.
JUST KEEP LOTS OF WATER CLOSE BY.
HAVE A FUN SUMMER,
JAV
HTH!
As far as the amusement park, We do Disneyland like 5 times a year and I have learned to take it very slow and sit down at early signs of tiredness. and when I am close to being "done for the night" I let everyone know so we can work our way out of the park, quickly! and yes, they do have wheelchairs, regular and electric USE IT if you need to! Your body will thank you, and so will your family!
