This may sound like a dumb question to most, but how does the SSI/SSDI system work if you're married? Do they go off of your spouse's income also, or do they simply base it on your years of income alone. I've only been married to my (2nd) husband for 3 1/2 years. Anyone with answers? I know, I know...."ASK THE SSI DPT." Just wondering if anyone had an "inside" scoop?
