For several weeks now I had difficulty sleeping. I have various strategies as I used to be an insomniac years ago. Well last night I used my self-hypnosis tape and Alita GOT SLEEP! Now, I should say the name is a bit misleading. You are not really hypnotized in the classical sense. It is guided relaxation exercises and visualization. I woke up refreshed for the first time in weeks. I purchased this tape years ago, and had to dig it out because I was desperate for a good nights sleep. I will say the most effective method used on the tape is the tightening and relaxing of each muscle group. Afterwards, you start counting backward from 500 while visualizing you are walking down stairs to a nice garden. Try this if you are not sleeping. You do not need the tape to do this simple exercise.
