Hi guys, I have only just been dx with MS but wondered where people stand with exercise and in particular - running. Although I have only just been dx I have had minor problems whist running for the last few years, in that after doing so I have a lot of tingles and sometimes weakness in my legs. Although Iam grateful that I can still do so I wish to know if you guys believe it could make things worse in the long run (excuse the pun). I also wondered if anyone else has similar rush of blood feelings/symptoms down the back of their legs when looking down - mainly after running. Before getting dx I had quite a bad back injury so wondered if this is more common with the injury or the MS. I personally beleive that the injury woke up the MS! Cheers Joe.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Stretching excercise (I do yoga) really helps. Good luck!
