When I was in middle school I hyperventilated once. The phys ed teacher was especially nasty and was pushing me on the timed one mile run. I was never built for running and it showed. I ended up in the nurse's office hyperventilating and humiliated. I only mention this because more than once, I've lost the use of my hands. They "curl" up and feel funny-like when I hyperventilated in middle school. However-I haven't been doing anything physically demanding and I was completely calm when it happened-no panic attack. The dr says this is NOT an ms symptom. Anyone else with this experience? If not ms, any other ideas?
