Problem in my left eye...

I was looking in the mirror while ago, and saw that the lower part (the white part) of my left eye looked blood shot. Just in the bottom part. I've been having eye pain from time to time that last about 1 to 5 minutes. Is this optic neuritis?
I've never had it before, so not sure if I should be concerned about it or not. It's also a little blurry or cloudy looking out of that eye.
I tried to look it up on webmd, but it didn't tell me really what the symptoms were. Anyone know?

I'm not sure about your eye being blood shot. When I had it I had double,blurred vision and, a horrible headache. I also has pressure behind my eyes to the point that I could no longer move my eyes. Hope this helps.

my wasnt blood shot i just got a really bad headache then i went completely blind in left eye.it was like in a matter of minutes i was blind.still hvnt got site bck completely and thts been bout 7 months since it first happened so you should call ur neuro

The blood shot look is gone this morning, and it's not hurting anymore right now. Hopefully it was nothing. I do think I'll check with doc to be sure it was nothing. Thanks guys...Darla

when I had optic neuritis, it was like looking thru a kaliedescope for me, then it went fuzzy and dark, then lost all the vision in less than a week. I didn't notice any bloodshot look to the eye itself. I would definitely have your eye checked out.

    theatre and I are there already. I'm having a very berry tea with crackers, cheese and cherry tomatoes and she's having a joint with some beer and we're both on really comfy recliners on thick pile carpet. we need some help with the decor if anyone is around??

    I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
